  1. We guarantee this puppy is in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of the sale. This guarantee will remain in full force and effect for 1 year (12 months) from the date of purchase and no longer. Please see medical record provided for all care this puppy has received prior to leaving the premises of Dell’s Dachshunds. This canine is purebred and embodies the characteristics of the breed named above. It is impossible to determine the EXACT adult size, coat type of color of any puppy. Size, coat type and color estimates are based on both of the parents. Dell’s Dachshunds makes not guarantees of warrantees, express or implied, regarding the puppies’ size, coat type, color or confirmation. We do not guarantee you will be able to showor breed the dog. No cash refund will be given under any circumstances; only replacement puppies will be supplied if necessary – per this contract, as long as Dell’s Dachshunds is still breeding and producing miniature dachshund puppies. Purchaser Accepts and hereby acknowledges responsibility for the following: Failure to do ANY of the following will constitute a void of the health guarantees contained in this contract by Dell’s Dachshunds. The breeder is not responsible for any diseases contributed to non-performance of the new owner to give shots, deworm, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as directed by the new owner’s veterinarian and to otherwise ensure health. Parasites can be picked up anywhere after leaving the breeder which can include giardia and coccidia. The breeder is not responsible for any condition attributed to the new owner intentionally or accidentally. These include, but are not limited to, organ damage (liver, kidney, stomach, or heart issues), intestinal blockages or other maladies due to consumption of foreign body items such as toys or socks, or exposure to toxins found in plants or materials around the buyer’s home/environment. If the buyer’s veterinarian finds cause for the return of the puppy for any non-treatable, life threatening genetic health reason, breeder must be informed within 48 hours of purchase and puppy must be returned to breeder within 48 hours after said examination with registration papers, if applicable. Puppy will be returned to the breeder at the buyer’s

expense, and the breeder’s veterinarian shall be allowed to examine said puppy within 48

hours of return. Provided both veterinarians agree that there is a reasonable cause for the

return of the puppy due to non-treatable life-threatening health reasons, which existed at

the time of purchase, and further provides evidence that the puppy had been properly

cared for while in the buyer’s possession, breeder will replace the puppy originally

purchased with another puppy of equal value, when one becomes available. There will be NO money refunded. This guarantee will remain in

full force and effect for 1 year (12 months) from the date of purchase and no longer.

If the puppy is found to have a severe life-threatening genetic defect, resulting in the

puppy’s death, a necropsy must be performed to determine the cause of death. The exam

is done at the buyer’s expense. Failure to do so voids this contract and included health

guarantee. Breeder is in no way responsible for payment of any other medical or

veterinary expenses associated with the above terms. The buyer understands that the

breeder will offer NO cash refunds, and if the buyer rejects a replacement puppy all sales

become final. Under NO condition will the breeder replace the puppy in the event that the

breeder was not advised of its being ill beforehand, or euthanized, without the breeder’s

permission. This guarantee will remain in full force and effect for 1 year (12 months)

from the date of purchase and no longer.

Common parasites, fleas, ticks, worms, mites, coccidia, giardia, etc., and any defects that

can be reversed or treated, such as allergies, back dewclaws, undescended testicles,

umbilical hernia, dermatitis, and skin conditions that are treatable, or retained baby teeth

are NOT cause for replacement. The breeder will not pay associated veterinary bills that

may occur from any of these items, regardless of if puppy had any of these items at the

    time or purchase and possession.

Dell’s Dachshunds makes every effort to make sure that your puppy is healthy and free of

parasites at the time of sale and provides all required health documentation at the time of

sale to support this claim. Many of the items noted above (parasites included) are a result

of stress from going to a new home, and do not occur when a puppy has otherwise been

healthy at its breeder’s home. Most puppies have worms, and you or your veterinarian

should not be surprised if your puppy does develop them after leaving the breeder.
